José Mourinho and Manachester United have parted company.
The biggest club in the world had a a contract with Mourinho that ran until 2020, however the weekend defeat to premier league leaders Liverpool seems to have been the last straw.
It left Manchester United 19 points off the top of the premier league table and 11 points off the Champions league spots.
The club released a statement this morning.
Manchester United has announced that Jose Mourinho has left the Club.
We would like to thank him for his work during his time at Manchester United and wish him success in the future. #MUFC

It is three years and a day since Mourinho was sacked by Chelsea.
