No beans, poached eggs and good quality sausages and bacon.
This is what will achieve the perfect Irish breakfast.
That's according to Irish food critic Caroline Byrne, who joined Dermot & Dave for their Ask Me Anything series.
According to Caroline you need good quality breakfast meats, proper good pork sausages and rashers from a butcher.
You have to have poached eggs as opposed to fried eggs because they leave too much grease on the plate.
Nice bread and proper butter are needed and Caroline says beans have no business on the plate, apparently that's too British.
