Lots of festivities take place across the country on March 17th but we've found the smallest and shortest St. Patrick's Day Parade in Ireland.

The parade is organised by Michael Fortune in Curragraigue, Co. Wexford and takes a whole 6 minutes to complete.

For it's 3rd year the parade will be lead by ‘lonely piper’ Pat de Lambert from Curragraigue

The official grand marshal will be none other that ’Brigid de Lambert’, depending on her mood on the day!

Parade organiser Michael won't be able to make it himself this year unfortunately.

He'll be representing Curragraigue at the London St. Patrick’s Day Parade.

If you fancy going along the parade takes place at 1pm and will finish arounf 1:06pm.

Irish Dancing And Gymnast Ban In Drogheda

Things were looking uncertain for the Drogheda St. Patrick's Day Parade.

Irish dancers and gymnasts were facing a ban from the festivities.

Parade Chairperson Anthony Lynch said the performers cause long delays in the parade.

Speaking to Dermot and Dave this morning, he told how one year people thought the parade had ended and they left due to gaps.

However, the jig isn't up for Irish dancers taking part as it's been announced they will be allowed to perform after all.

Dancers and gymnasts will be allowed to perform once they keep moving forward.
