Europe's first, and the world's third Emoji spelling bee will take place in Dublin next Tuesday.
Competitors at the event will have to spell out popular phrases, people, places or concepts using only emojis. A panel of experts will then choose who has best used the emojis to complete the task.
Speaking to Dermot and Dave Keith Broni explained they chose the 21st of March to match up to the calendar emoji on Facebook.
