More than 2000 people have attempted suicide by jumping off the Golden Gate Bridge since it was constructed in 1937.

Only 36 people (less than 1 per cent) have survived the fall.
In September 2000 Kevin Hines jumped off the bridge, but he survived.
Kevin has spent the last 16 years helping those who are contemplating suicide by actively spreading the message of living mentally healthy around the globe.
