During his 20 year career the Athy, Kildare native Jack Lukeman has recorded 14 albums of both original material and covers.
In celebration of The 1916 Centenary Jack Lukeman he has recorded a beautiful version of “The Minstrel Boy”,
The song was originally written by Thomas Moore (1779–1852) in remembrance of those whom had participated in the Irish Rebellion of 1798. The song became a great inspiration for the 1916 Easter Rising.
‘Minstrel Boy’ is set for release on 29 March 2016.

Performing with the RTE Concert Orchestra at the Centenary Concert in the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre, broadcast live on RTE One on Easter Monday night.
