Guinness World Record Attempt For The Largest Scrum To Honour Anthony Foley

The late Anthony Foley is set to be remembered in a unique way next week when a world record attempt in his name will take place in Limerick.

Students from LIT are aiming to achieve the Guinness world record for the largest scrum in the world, while also fundraising for charity, chosen by the Foley family.

It will take place in LIT's main campus in Limerick, just a couple of hundred metres from Thomond Park.

It's hoped up to 3,000 people will take part in the attempt on the 4th of April.
