For those visiting our gorgeous shores, the Cork accent can be, at the very least, intimidating.
At most it can be petrifying.
Funny man Russell Kane is coming to Ireland and he says out of all of the accents he's heard around the world - the Cork accent is by far his favourite.
"I've never had such panic as when I do a meet and greet in Cork where lovely people were just trying to say lovely things to me and I'm like - just a noun - all i need is a noun, or just one verb! Just give me something here guys."
"It sounds like someone put spanners in a barrel and just started turning it."
Russell will be taking to the stage at the Olympia on Thursday 11 May 2017, tickets are available at ticketmaster.ie and usual outlets.
And here he is chatting to Dermot and Dave Today FM's real life Cork man 'Lenny'
