A former member of Coppers Face Jacks' bar staff is coming clean on their time working at the nightclub.
During an 'Ask Me Anything' on Reddit, user @tanzanitetnn, who worked there for a year between 2012 and 2013, revealed all.
Their worst experience? Dublin v Mayo in 2013.
"I think the worst experience I had was after 2013's GAA Final that Mayo won over Dublin." (Dublin actually won, but we'll forgive the error given the trauma inflicted).
"People from Mayo spent the entire day in Dublin and they went to Coppers afterwards with the exact same jersey as they went to the game so the smell was unbearable and to top that it was the busiest day Coppers ever had so we worked like from 6 pm to 9 am trying to avoid people.
"It wasn't anything really specific but that day stuck with me forever."
Is it all Gardaí and nurses?
"I honestly didn't know about the nurse thing until someone told me almost 3 months after I started working there. The Garda was there pretty frequently though and it's hard not to see them."
How often do you find money on the floor?
"Yea, a lot. On the busiest time of the year (Christmas) a fellow floor staff found over €200 in one day and a Spanish guy paid his trip to Brazil solely from money he found on the floor.
"The best places to be were close to bars as people usually let the money fall and on smoking areas as people would get more stuff from their pockets."
Strangest thing you've found?
"A vibrator. Not those penis shaped ones but those small ones that looks like little tech gadgets. The Hungarian staff were the ones to find it and were playing with it without knowing what it was until someone told them.
"The look on the guy that was holding it at the time such mystery was revealed was pretty good."
