These gravity defying arse hoisters are the brain-child of a Colombian jean baron called Gregorio Jose Rivera Quiroz.
According to him the design has a few tricks to shape the buttocks of the wearer.
The BBC reports that Mr Quiroz who has made a fortune from denim said,
"I could raise the price and people would keep buying."
He has already sold 600,000 pairs in just three months.
(Hey Colombia, 1987 called they want their jeans back)
There are at three secrets that make the butt-lifters work:
- A high waistband that covers the stomach
- More cloth in the buttocks than other jeans
- Pinched in one, two or three places above the back pockets or under the waistband, to shape the excess cloth" It has been perfected over time so now the competition is to see who can lift more," says Mr Rivera.
Just look at this wan who bought a pair she's only delighted with herself:
Because of the popularity of his Butt-Lifters, other companies have jumped on the bumwagon and are selling their own versions.
