This incredible scene was caught by a driver in an unnamed part of the USA.
According to the website electrik.co who picked up on the video, the Tesla Model S car has an Autopilot Autosteer and the active cruise control appear to be moving the vehicle in heavy traffic.
Apparently the car has an alert that shows on the dashboard if the driver doesn't engage for a period. The car then puts on it's hazards and pulls over to the side of the road, but not on this occasion.
Considering the problems with Google Maps and Sat Navs this guy will probably wake up on top of a mountain.
In years to come the commute to work could be filled with snoozing drivers.
