The show was the biggest in over a decade for Channel 4, with average episode views of 2.5 million.
Derry Girls Season 2 Teaser
The minute-long teasers starts with Erin's Ma Mary warning the girls not to get up to any "funny business" with the Protestant boys.
There's also plenty of nods to the 90s throughout the trailer with school dances, shell suits and a Take That concert.
It looks like the girls will be getting up to some mischief at a cross-community getaway.
Cast
Although there was no giveaway to Derry native Nadine Coyle's appearance, it looks like the rest of the cast will be returning.
Nicola Coughlan who plays Clare, shared her excitement on Twitter.
