Remember the three days of summer we had in June?

They were lovely weren't they?

Following the tail end of Hurricane Gert last weekend, which brought with it lots of rain and heavy winds, we're in for another dose of shite weather this afternoon.

Met Éireann have an orange warning in place for most of Ireland with widespread thundery activity expected this afternoon and evening.

While a yellow warning is in place for Connacht, Cavan, Monaghan and Donegal with some very heavy or thundery downpours leading to local spot flooding.

It will remain wet and windy tomorrow morning but will become cooler and clearer as the day goes on.

Happy summer everyone!!
