• Today FM’s decision regarding prize winners will be final, and no correspondence regarding that decision will be entered into.
• Today FM prizes are non-transferable, and will only be awarded to the prize winner.
• Use of a false name or address by a competition entrant, i.e. a name by which the entrant is not usually known, will disqualify them from receiving any prize.
• Today FM will keep prize winner(s) personal details for a reasonable time in order that prizes can be sent to the prize winner(s); rules can be verified to have been complied with and for accounting purposes. Today FM may only pass prize winner(s) details on to our third parties or sponsors for the purpose of delivering the prize.
• Today FM Competitions are open only to residents of the Republic Of Ireland.
• For competitions requiring entry by text, the number is 087 4100 102.  Standard network charges apply.
• Today FM will ensure that all prizes are delivered within 28 days of winning. Where this is not possible, the station will notify the winner of a delay.
• All prize winners have 12 months to claim a prize and if we or our client company do not receive any correspondence (pertaining to their address or other details) in that time period their claim is null and void.
• When, due to circumstances beyond our control, a prize is not available, Today FM reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal value.
• From time to time the station may offer a cash alternative to a specific prize, but is under no obligation to do so.
• Today FM accepts no responsibility for failure due to circumstances beyond our control, to fulfil a competition, which involves a third party but has no specific cash value, e.g. meeting an artist. We will however, on all occasions strive to provide a substitute prize of equal desirability to the winner. Unfortunately, the company cannot accept responsibility if these attempts do not meet a prizewinner’s expectations.
• In on air competitions, failure to appear on air will unfortunately disqualify an entrant whether this occurs due to operator error or other technical errors.
• The prizes will be subject to any additional terms and conditions of the supplier of the prize to the Promoter.
• The Promoter/Today FM shall not be liable for any loss, damage or consequential damage of any nature whether in contract, tort including negligence or otherwise caused by acceptance of these terms or in connection with the Prize or the Competition.
• In the event of unforeseen circumstances the Promoter/Today FM reserves the right to amend or withdraw the Competition without notice.
• These terms and conditions shall be governed by Irish law and the courts of Ireland shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
• Any person or persons found to be in disregard of any of the above rules will be disqualified automatically. Today FM reserves the right to disqualify any contestant for any reason whatsoever in its sole discretion

For inclusion in the Terms and Conditions:

1. THE PRIZE:

There will be one (1) prize consisting of a trip to Rome, Italy for up to two (2) adults aged eighteen (18) or over (i.e., the winner and one (1) additional adult) (collectively, the “Recipients”) which consists of the following (the “Prize”):

1.  round trip economy flights (inclusive of all all airport taxes, fees and /or duties) for the Recipients from the capital city of the country where the Recipients all reside to Rome, Italy;
2.  return private airport to hotel ground transportation in Rome and return private transfers between the Recipients’ Rome hotel and the activities listed in (iv) below;
3.  hotel accommodations consist of a four (4) night stay in a four (4) star Rome hotel, including breakfast. The Recipients to be lodged in a single room;
4.  subject to each Recipient completing any applicable liability waiver forms required by the activity providers of the activities below and any other documents as requested by Octopi Promotions Limited (the “Travel Agent”) prior to the activities, and subject to complying with any relevant weight, height and age restrictions, Recipients will participate in the following activities which will be held in English:

1. a) A Gladiator themed chariot racing experience in a roman replica chariot pulled by two horses and driven by a professional charioteer around a roman replica film set;
2. b) A three hour small group guided tour of Rome’s most iconic ancient monuments;
3. c) A one hour horseback ride along the Appian Way including an organic lunch;
4. d) An Italian cookery class at a historic winery followed by a winery tour, tasting and a chef prepared three course meal; and
5. e) A Roman Baths experience.

2. PRIZE CONDITIONS:

1.  the Recipients must travel at the same time with the same itinerary;
2. Recipients must travel between 1 December 2024 and 28 February 2026. Travel is not permitted in July or August and between 15 December 2025 and 15 January 2026;
3. Recipients must provide the Travel Agent with at least ninety (90) days’ advance notice of travel date preferences and each Recipient must provide a copy of their passport to the Travel Agent in order to book the Prize;
4. once the Travel Agent has received signed booking forms, no changes will be permitted;
5. the Travel Agent will endeavour to accommodate the travel date preferences specified by the Recipients of the Prize, but all travel is subject to availability. Flights may be indirect and no stopovers or extensions to the trip are permitted. Recipients are responsible for travel to the airport in their home country. Activities referenced in section 1(iv) herein are subject to availability at the time of booking and alternatives of equal or greater value may be offered, dependant on availability;
6. Recipients must observe at all times the Covid-19 restrictions and health and safety laws and regulations applicable to travel, hotel and activities. This may include, but not be limited to, testing requirements and/or proof of vaccination status. The Recipients shall be responsible for ensuring that they comply at all times with any such restrictions and/or requirements in order to redeem the prize.
7. Recipients must be willing and able to meet all Italian entry and exit requirements, including COVID-19 related requirements, if applicable. Recipients are responsible for the cost of any COVID-19 tests and/ or related certifications that may be required and the cost of any COVID-19 related restrictions including any quarantine restrictions upon return to their country of residence;
8. accommodations for the Recipients includes breakfast. Any other meals, incidentals, gratuities, telephone calls or personal expenses not expressly included in the Prize and incurred during the trip will be the responsibility of the Recipients. A credit card for incidentals may be requested by the hotel at check-in and therefore at least one of the Recipients must possess and travel with a valid credit card;
9. the Prize is non-transferrable, non-changeable and non-refundable. Recipients cannot change, vary, substitute or extend any element of the Prize (in whole or in part). If Recipients are unable to take the Prize during the stated time period Recipients will forfeit the Prize with no compensation. Cash will not be awarded in lieu of the Prize;
10. if required, the Recipients must organise their own visas for travel to Rome, Italy and any transit countries. Travel Agent shall assist in the translation of visa application documents and certification of the travel itinerary where required. Any visa or passport charges are the responsibility of the Recipients. The Travel Agent and the promoter will not be responsible for the Recipients being unable to participate in the Prize due to visa or passport restrictions and no refunds or alternatives will be provided;
11. The Travel Agent shall assist with booking and pay for the cost of adequate travel insurance suitable for the needs of the Recipients if they are aged 64 or younger. The Travel Agent will provide a contribution towards the cost of travel insurance of £50 GBP per person for Recipients aged sixty-five (65) or older and/or those with pre-existing medical conditions for which the Travel Agent is unable to procure travel insurance coverage. In such a case the Recipient must organise their own suitable travel insurance cover and send the Travel Agent a copy of their travel insurance documents before they travel;
12. Anything not specified as being included in these terms and conditions as being included in the prize package is excluded. In particular (but without limitation) the prize does not include expenses, spending monies, meals other than as stated, the cost of travel to the airport in the Recipients home country, and transfers other than those stated;
13. Recipients travel at their own risk and, if for any reason any aspect of the Prize is not capable of running as planned, including war, terrorism, state of emergency, pandemic, or any other kind of disaster, tampering or computer virus, the Travel Agent reserves the right to substitute or modify the Prize, subject to any written directions from a relevant regulatory authority.
