The first ever Vhi Virtual Women’s Mini Marathon is taking place this October.
The Vhi Women's Mini Marathon would have normally taken place in Dublin's city centre, was cancelled this year due to Covid 19.
Even though there won't be a physical race this year, a virtual event has been set up in it's place, with an ambitious goal!
Women in Ireland will be asked to Live Life to the Power of 10, that means completing 10k in 10 day to help raise €10 million.
Women all over the country (and beyond) can complete 10k over a ten day period between the 1st and 10th October.
It will cost €10 to enter (plus postage), and everyone who enters will get a commemorative medal and a Vhi purple finisher t-shirt. Women will also be able to download and personalise their race number, and wear it on their t-shirts.
You can register now at vhiwomensminimarathon.ie
The Vhi Women’s Mini Marathon is the largest all-women event of its kind in the world and it is also the single biggest charity fundraising event in Ireland.
Since its inception in 1983, it has raised an estimated €225 million for Irish charities!
