U2 will go on tour in 2015. Bono has confirmed the band will tour their latest album Songs of Innocence in indoor arenas. Speaking to Absolute Radio he said: "We're going to be touring. We're going to start next year. We're going try and play The O2 [in London] and places like that, more indoors than outdoors this time, but we'll see where it takes us. It's exciting. We'll be coming your way and these songs are the songs that, I think, will play themselves.''
The last time U2 toured, they played stadiums around the world, from 2009 through to 2011. The 360° Tour sold 7.2 million tickets and took in over $700 million.
Bono has also admitted it's hard to leave home, saying: "Only if the songs are great can you bear leaving home. We all have families and mates and... so you know, you're looking for 11 great reasons to leave home and I think we've got them."
