Two special screenings have been organised by cultural events company Happenings to celebrate and remember Robin Williams who sadly passed away earlier this week.
Last night, hundreds of people turned up in Merrion Square for an outdoor screening of the 1989 American drama Dead Poets Society, with people taking to their feet during the ‘O Captain, My Captain’ scene:

If you missed the screening last night, Happenings are showing Good Will Hunting in Fitzwilliam Square on Saturday night. Gates 7.30pm, tickets €10.
Proceeds from Thursday’s event will go towards Pieta House, with another organisation (TBC) which works in the area of mental health to receive proceeds from Saturday’s event. More info here
