Today FM, along with Focus Ireland, need you to join us in the fight to end the rising homelessness crisis.
Warm up those vocal chords and join Focus Ireland and Today FM on Friday April 12th for the Big Busk.
No matter what your ability is, everyone can take part to help raise much needed funds for Focus Ireland’s vital homeless services.
Speaking about taking part in her first Big Busk Louise Cantillon says, “Táimid ar bís!
"We are so excited for The Big Busk for Focus Ireland; it's going to be the best one yet! All of us in Today FM have a big circle around Big Busk date on April 12th on our calendars, and we want you to mark off this date as well!"
Matt Cooper adds, "The latest figures to come from the Department of Housing are truly a worrying sight, with over 13,000 people currently without a home in Ireland.
"A little over 4,000 of which are children. The homeless crisis in Ireland is a huge problem that needs addressing, and we need your help to do so.
"We want you to get involved and sign up for The Big Busk for Focus Ireland on April 12th and raise some much-needed funds for this wonderful cause."

Musician and Dublin busker, Saibh Skelly, who is participating in this year’s Big Busk said, “Being out Busking and gigging in the city centre, you can see the devastating effects of homelessness on so many. Being part of The Big Busk gives me an opportunity to use my passion to contribute and help raise vital funds for those experiencing homelessness in Ireland. I encourage my fellow musicians to join me by signing up to busk and fundraise, or making a donation to Focus Ireland.”
If you’re a musician, singer, busker or part of a music group or choir, you can make a difference to the lives of people experiencing the trauma of homelessness by performing at The Big Busk on Friday April 12.
Sign up and join Focus Ireland and Today FM at one of their events in Cork, Dublin, Kilkenny, Limerick, and Sligo, or host your own event. Live performances will take place throughout the day on Friday April 12, from 10 am and 7 pm.
Focus Ireland will be holding Big Busk events in the following venues:
