Last Friday, Molly Malone was officially unveiled in her new home on Suffolk Street, outside the tourist office. The statue has been moved from the bottom of Grafton Street to facilitate the extension work on the green Luas line.
This morning, Dublin City Council have had to spend time cleaning the statue after it was vandalised:
