Paul McCartney has cancelled all of his remaining tour dates in Japan, due to continued illness. Concert organisers say the former Beatle has been ordered to take a 'complete rest' due to a 'worsening viral infection'.
The 71-year-old had already cancelled two shows in Tokyo.
In a statement, McCartney said: 'I was really looking forward to playing in Japan again after we had such an amazing time here in November. I'd like to thank my Japanese fans for their love, messages of support and understanding.'
His next gig is scheduled for May 28 in Seoul.
