The Matt Cooper-narrated film about basketball star Dennis Rodman's visit to North Korea premiered at the Slamdance Film Festival in Utah last night.
Matt Cooper travelled to Pyongyang last January with Rodman to attend a basketball game in celebration of North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un.
The film has received a rave review from Variety:
“It’s still a strange sight,” remarks narrator Matt Cooper, who demonstrates an impressive ability to turn on a dime from whimsy to seriousness throughout. “The leader of the world’s most controlled state and America’s most out-of-control celebrity laughing and joking like a couple of old college buddies.”
