You're feeling confident and that pint has definitely helped things. You joke about funny names for the team and settle on something that you think is hilarious. Pretty soon, that all falls asunder. The laughter disappears and it's suddenly pandemonium. Barry thinks that a 'Bombay Duck' is actually a duck and Jenny's in a huff because no one would believe her when she said Wellington was the capital of New Zealand.
Soon, it's all-out warfare and you're resisting the urge to box John in the nose. He is SO cocky. The answers are read out and the teams around you is shouting for victory but your table is noticeably quiet. Victory seems further and further away.
