Joan Rivers was interviewed by CNN news presenter Fredricka Whitfield about her new book.
However, she stormed out of the interview after Whitfield asked her about wearing a fur on the cover of the book – pointing out that people might be offended by this. Rivers is an animal rights campaigner.
Rivers was having none of it, declaring: "This whole interview is becoming a defensive interview… I’m going. All you’ve done is negative. I’ve made people laugh for 50 years. I am put on earth to make people laugh. My book is funny. I wear fur that was killed 15 years ago. I work for animal rights."
