The greatest TV show in the history of the world is coming back to our TV screens.
That may have been slightly dramatic but we stand by it.
Gavin & Stacey first aired in 2007 and was tragically ripped from our lives in 2010. The series was written by James Corden and Ruth Jones, who also star in the sitcom.
It won numerous awards including 2 Baftas and became an instant hit with viewers.
As with a lot of British TV shows, a Christmas Special in 2008 sent fans reeling and now, 11 years later, it seems we'll be seeing Smithy, Ness and Dave's Coaches once more.
James Corden confirmed this morning that he and Ruth Jones are currently working on a 2019 Christmas Special.
Ruth Jones and I have been keeping this secret for a while... We’re excited to share it with you. See you on Christmas Day @BBCOne #GavinandStacey pic.twitter.com/gTRa3cp90t

Speaking about the project both Corden and Jones said:
Over the last ten years we’ve talked a lot about Gavin and Stacey - where they might be today and what their lives might look like. And so in secret we took the plunge and wrote this one hour special. We’ve loved revisiting Barry and Essex again and bringing the characters back together has been a joy. We’re so excited to get the chance to work with our fabulous cast and crew once more and to give fans of the show a festive treat this Christmas.
We know summer has just begun but Christmas can't come soon enough, but until then enjoy some of the best moments from the series:
