We knew this all along deep-down, but now it's been confirmed.
Ireland is a nation of happy heads and the folks at AVEENO have taken the time to prove it!
A recent survey reveals that most of us are of a sunny disposition, with nearly three quarters of Irish people proclaiming to be happy in their own skin and having a positive view on life.
And when it comes to the ‘good skins’ among us, a huge 83% agreed this to be someone who is generally positive and happy with a good outlook, calm in a crisis, trustworthy and reliable.
When asked what time they felt happiest, the majority of responders (45%) said they felt happiest in the morning, a time when we also felt our skin is at its happiest. Nearly half those surveyed claimed skin happiness was at its peak after a bath or shower.
When it came to body confidence, the survey found a nearly even split, with slightly more (51%) saying they feel confident in swimwear and baring their skin this summer.
While as a nation we are only slightly more body confident than not, the good news is that we are generally happy in our own skin. Over 70% of those surveyed described the Irish as ‘happy skins’ and a happy-go-lucky bunch.
Happy days!
