Can you believe that almost a quarter of Irish people choose not to celebrate St. Patrick's Day because they don't feel it genuinely represents what it means to be Irish?
That's according to research conducted by Bounce Insights on 27th May 2021 with 217 respondents.
This Paddy's Day we're partnering with Cadbury to celebrate what it truly means to be Irish.
One of our best traits of all? Our famous Irish generosity.

We want to showcase that the best way to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day is to make someone else’s.
That's why we're challenging you to become a Cadbury St. Patrick's Daymaker.
What's a daymaker you may ask?
A daymaker is someone who goes out of their way to make someone else’s day.
A Saint Patrick’s daymaker is someone who goes out of their way to make someone’s St Patrick’s Day!
How to get involved
Get creative this St. Patrick's Day and think of how you can make someone else's day.
It doesn't have to be a big token, it can be as little as rescuing your neighbours washing from the rain or some of the other examples below.
- Putting out the neighbours bins
- Mowing the neighbours lawn
- Helping someone change a tyre
- Helping move a couch when you see people struggling with it
- Leaving a card into the elderly neighbour
- Help carry someone's shopping to their car
- Offer up your spot in the queue
- Give up your seat on the bus/ train
Whatever way you decide to be a Cadbury St. Patrick's Daymaker, make sure you show off our brilliant Irish generosity. It will definitely make someone's day!
