My first car was an '89 Opel Kadett 1.2ltr... had 1 owner at the time a priest yes a priest!! 😁 I bought it in '96/97 & it got a fair upgrade, alloys, spoiler, bucket seats, skirts, spoiler, exhaust system & had the go faster air auntie system & filters under the hood. For a 1.2 ltr it was a bullet of a car. I basically had it looking like the GSI Kadett at the time which was a rocket of a machine. Then came the Astra GSI, you had the Corsa GSI too, they don't make em like that anymore. Those yokes were rockets! The insurance at the time was £2300 🙄 for a car costing 2k at the time....not much has changed in 20 years eh!!

Hi Ferg, my first car was a little red micra, I called it my tweetymobile as had tweetybird all over the inside! Tweety sunshades, cushions, a tweety airfresher and a tweety toy on the dash and back window!!! I loved it but all my college friends thought I was mad!! :joy::joy::joy: Orla Dublin 15
Ferg it was an old Datsun Blue Bird I love that car Driving up to Keeper hill and free wheeling down driving down to Ballyheigue in Kerry sleeping on the back seat after a night of swinging the tacky at the local ballroom and driving back to Limerick with the radio blaring :hugging_face:the next morning, god be with the days. That was car was the best :heart::+1:
Never had a car but my first motor bike was a honda 50 when i was 16,still have the bike but it only comes out on sundays.joe
First car was a Purple Nissan micra, got me through my first 5 years of driving with little hassle, everyone laughed at me rocking up to school in it but at least I had a car at 17 unlike the rest of them hahaha
