On Thursday 17th July, Dublin Zoo celebrated the arrival of a new Asian elephant.
The healthy calf was born to mum Yasmin and dad Upali at 7.22am.

The Natural Confectionary Company is sponsoring the new calf’s home - the Kaziranga Forest Trail at Dublin Zoo - and has been tasked with the naming of the young calf.
If you have a name for our new little friend you have to be quick – deadline is Monday.
