As a young woman, part of growing up is emulating pop stars and obsessing over their every move -Britney, Xtina, Beyoncé but to name a few.
For many of us, our obsession with these celebrities carries over into adult life.
That's where Siobhan, an English girl with a Mariah Carey obsession, comes in.
A few days before her birthday, Siobhan advised her work colleagues that she would love a Mariah Carey birthday cake more than anything and it seems they took note - kind of.
And so, on the day of her birthday Siobhan was presented with a birthday cake but in a hilarious mix up it wasn't Mariah Carey's face that was staring back at her.
Her colleagues had misheard her and got a photo of the award winning physicist Marie Curie printed on her cake:
My cousin in England told her colleagues she wanted a Mariah Carey birthday cake. They misunderstood, and is the cake they made her instead. It’s Marie Curie, looking very festive. pic.twitter.com/LMHJnMATqD

Siobhan's cousin Harriet tweeted a photo of the cake and Madame Curie has been getting a lot of love online.
I mean Mariah released an album called E=MC2 in 2008 so she's basically a physicist. Easy mistake?
