Irish football and music fans rejoice!
The first ever Irish exhibition of the brilliant Bands F.C.is coming to Dublin later this year.
Bands F.C.began last summer, when creators Mark and Nick started imagining ‘bands as football teams, and football teams as bands’, with their crests quickly became something of a phenomenon.
Many of the music artists whose band names' have been turned into badges are fans themselves, such as Jarvis Cocker, Richard Hawley, The Kinks, and The Flaming Lips.
And if it's good enough for Jarvis Cocker, The Kinks and 17,000 Instagram followers, it's good enough for us!
Bands F.C. became so successful that an exhibition was inevitable, and Bands F.C. is coming to Dublin for its first Irish exhibition, to Rascals Brewery in Inchicore to be exact.
Nick Fraser from Bands F.C. says “We are so excited to be taking our Bands F.C. exhibition to Ireland - we’ve had so many requests. The fact that it’s at a brewery is an added bonus. After music, football and design, drinking responsibly is one of our favourite things.”
The exhibition will run from October 9th – 20th and admission will be free.
Rascals HQ is located in Goldenbridge Estate, Tyrconnell Road, Inchicore, less than 15 minutes’ walk from Kilmainham Gaol and one minute from the Black Horse Luas stop.
