We're only delighted to welcome broadcaster and comedian, Doireann Garrihy as a guest presenter, this Saturday from 2-6PM.
While ‘Premiere League Live’ takes the week off, due to the international break in soccer, we're subbing in Doireann!
Doireann, who has been bringing the nation nothing but laughter since she joined Podge and Rodge in the Ballydung Manor, will be presenting a four hour show on Today FM where she promises to bring “plenty of craic and loads of tzunes”.
The award winning broadcaster who is well-known for her hilarious and scarily accurate impressions of Irish celebrities has also tipped that the new season of her comedy show, The Doireann Project, is set to be released “very very soon”.
Speaking about her first solo-show on a national radio station Doireann Garrihy said:
“I’m so excited to be joining the Today FM family this weekend. I’ve been hovering at their door for the past few years, so to finally be taking to the airwaves is a dream come true. Tune in from 2pm as I have some seriously dzeadly tickets to give away!”
Programme Director at Today FM Adelle Nolan added:
“When you have this kind of talent literally knocking on your door, you gotta give her a show!
We are so delighted to have Doireann on the national airwaves this weekend.”
‘Premier League Live’ will return to Today FM next weekend with all the action from the Premier League.
