A few months ago Disney announced plans to launched a brand new streaming service, Disney Plus, to rival the likes of Netflix and last night we got all the details.
Here's what we know so far.
Disney Plus will launch in the US on November 12th and will cost a mere $7 (€6.20) a month, which is considerably cheaper than the Netflix monthly fee.

And while Netflix may have a vast bank of TV shows and films for viewers, Disney has put in a lot of ground work over the past few months.
The company recently acquired the rights to all the films in the Marvel Universe while also working on original content such as The Mandalorian, a TV series based on The Star Wars universe.
Disney Plus will have the following content available on the site: Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and National Geographic.

Disney Plus will have over 7,500 TV episodes and 500 films.
There's no official launch date for the streaming service in Ireland yet, but we're told we'll have it in the next two years.
