Irish ice cream lovers have been denied it's creamy deliciousness for too long and now we're delighted to report that Baskin Robbins will soon be scooped up by the scoop-load when it lands in Dunnes Stores freezers around the country.
Ice cream guru Paul Condon from Silver Pail Dairy in Fermoy joined Ray Foley on Today FM to explain just how popular the well know ice cream brand is, with its one thousand locations in nearly 50 countries.
He told us we will have four flavours to choose from when Baskin Robbins lands here.
"Cool mint cookie is a mint flavored ice cream with a chocolate ribbon running through and the best cookie pieces you can imagine."
"We're doing a nutty salted caramel, and that's a salted caramel with almond brittle pieces."
"Then you have Mississippi Mud, which is for the chocolate lover and the last one then is the strawberry cheesecake."
