You better catch yourself on because Derry Girls is to return for a third series!
Channel 4 tweeted a message after last night's final episode, confirming it will be coming back to our screens.
The sitcom's based on schoolkids growing up in Derry around the time of the IRA and loyalist ceasefires.
That might be the end for series 2 of #DerryGirls, but don’t worry it will be returning for series 3! @LisaMMcGee @SaoirseJackson @nicolacoughlan @louisa_harland @JamieLeeOD @Djllewellyn 🎉🎉🎉 pic.twitter.com/yhyOaCIIQh

I’m in Florence. It’s beautiful and I’ve eaten more truffle pasta than you could imagine, but I’ve missed the season finale of Derry Girls.

Ok. It’s ok. I’m ok now. Wee husband made me tea and I’ve dried my face on my T Shirt. #DerryGirls @LisaMMcGee you are nothing short of a genius. 🙌🏻

In absolute bits at #DerryGirls. Was in the Guildhall with my daddy as a three year old and was lifted over to crowd to shake Clinton's hand. His words still resonate today, we need a lasting peace and we can't let anything jeopardize it. pic.twitter.com/YfbSTMDeyC
