To celebrate its inaugural sponsorship of Electric Picnic, Justeat.ie decided to find out what Irish people love to eat at their favourite music festivals.
It's no surprise to find out that we’re a nation of meat lovers – 77% of those surveyed said that they look for a good selection of meat options at a festival.
29% of people favour burgers as their favourite festival food, followed by chips at 22% and noodles at 21%. Those looking for veggie options came in at 8%, with 6% choosing gluten-free options.
On average 78% of people expected to spend €10–€20 daily, with 15% of people expecting to spend €30–€50.
Pizza tops the list of favourite post-festival recovery food at 21%, with chips coming in at 13%.
