Bob Geldof’s language got colourful in a live interview on Sky News after it was suggested that the Band Aid singers don’t pay their taxes properly.
Sky News anchor Jayne Secker asked him to refrain from any similar words, but Sir Bib couldn’t help himself when asked about remarks made by journalist Ian Birrell (co-founder of the Africa Express) who called the song ‘trite’ and ‘patronising’.
