Four students from a school in Terenure in Dublin have defied the odds by winning a prestigious national calf rearing competition.
Shauna Jager, Emily Browne, Tara Frehill and Eithne Murray from Our Lady's School were announced as the winners of the Certified Irish Angus Beef schools competition at Croke Park.
It saw them rear 5 Irish Angus calves for 18 months through to their slaughter - along with conducting market research to increase awareness about the benefits of Certified Irish Angus Beef,
