What is Web Summit?
Web Summit (formerly called Dublin Web Summit) is a massive technology conference that’s held annually in Dublin.
Founded in 2010, the event grew from a modest 200 seater lecture theatre in its first year to a 10,000 capacity event in 2013.
This year’s event, held at the RDS from November 4th-6th, is expected to host 20,000 people from more than 100 countries.
Who’s speaking?
Over 500 people are speaking at the event, from U2’s Bono to Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria; from Ryder Cup winning captain Paul McGinley to Ireland’s #8 Jamie Heaslip; from the founder of Dropbox, Drew Houston, to the founder & CEO of dating app Tinder, Sean Rad.
