A 19 year old changed his identity by deed poll to avoid paying a fee to Ryanair to change his name on his air ticket.
Adam Armstrong was accidentally booked on a flight to Ibiza on holidays under his Facebook profile name of Adam West, instead of his real name.
When he tried to correct it, he says he was liable for a 220 pounds administration fee, but he found it was only half the price to change his name by deed poll and get a new passport.
The airline says customers are given 24 hours grace to correct minor booking errors, and after that they are charged a fee.
