Matt Cooper is getting into the ‘The Spirit of Radio’ with news of his all-new drivetime show, ‘Rush Hour’on TXFM, the alternative/indie rock station which launched in Dublin yesterday (Monday).
Produced by station newcomer Tom Sawyer and fronted by Cooper, ‘Rush Hour’ will air weekday evenings on the 105.2FM frequency and feature the complete back catalogue from Canadian rock band, Rush.
Instead of making ‘Permanent Waves’with politicians, Cooper is looking forward to stepping into the ‘Limelight’ with TXFM and paying tribute to his all-time favourite band.
Commenting on the surprise signing, Cooper said: “this is a dream come true for me, my love of rock and radio finally get the chance to come together with ‘Rush Hour’. I think listeners will be pleasantly surprised by what they hear”.
