An investigation has found children were left in a west of Ireland foster home for years, despite allegations of sexual abuse against a family member.
One young girl was removed from the house, after making an allegation of abuse against a teenager in 2007.
But another boy and a girl remained with the foster family.
The report on RTE's Prime Time found the second girl also made abuse allegations, four years later, and she was removed,but the boy remained.
A prosecution is being taken over the allegations.
